Historical data

Read historical data directly from the device

Users can open a device detail view and read historical data stored on the HibouAir device. The application presents the data in clear charts, and users can hover over chart points to view exact values and timestamps.

Historical data is stored while the device is powered on. If a device has just been turned on, it needs time to collect readings before historical charts are available.

Device detail view

Open a nearby device and review its real-time readings before accessing stored data.

Historical chart view

View stored measurements in charts for easier trend analysis.

Hover details

Hover over chart points to see exact parameter values and timestamps.

Device settings

Manage device details and custom names

When managing several devices, identifying sensors only by board ID can be difficult. The desktop application allows users to assign custom names such as Conference Room, Laboratory or Office Area, making devices easier to recognize across the application.

Custom device names

Rename devices so they are easier to identify in the sensor list and dashboard.

Device details

View useful device information such as part number and firmware version.

Reset application

Clear settings and restart the application when you need a fresh start.

Storage interval

Control historical storage interval

The desktop application can configure how often compatible HibouAir devices store historical data. Users can set the interval in minutes and use the built-in simulator to estimate how many days of data will be available.

Set storage interval in minutes
Balance high-resolution data with longer storage duration
Estimate available storage days with simulator
Compatibility check before applying settings
Older firmware uses the default interval automatically
Interval configuration requires compatible HibouAir firmware, such as version 2.6x or newer. For older firmware versions, the default interval will be used automatically. For example, setting the storage interval to 15 minutes can allow the device to store almost three weeks of historical data, depending on model and configuration.
